SEASONAL LARVAL CONTROL ASSISTANTS

This position involves working outdoors to conduct larval mosquito control applications. The job can involve treating standing water in natural settings, riding a bicycle to treat roadway catch basins, and treating or removing other water-holding containers that breed mosquitoes. It will provide valuable experience in applied Biology, decision-making, GIS software applications, and community engagement. Successful seasonal employees have an opportunity for continued permanent employment.
Full-time 40 hrs./wk., 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM from March through September.


SEASONAL NIGHTTIME FOGGING TRUCK APPLICATORS

The nighttime adult mosquito control field technician works under the direction of the Adulticiding Operations Manager and is responsible for operating trucks and applying mosquito control products from public roadways. The field tech will follow designated routes via GPS tablet and operate spray equipment from inside the truck cab.
This position is part-time 25 hrs./wk., 8:00 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
