We are looking for motivated self-starters to join our team dedicated to protecting the citizens of Lucas County from mosquitoes and vector-borne diseases.
OPEN POSITIONS
SEASONAL LARVAL CONTROL ASSISTANTS
This position includes the surveillance and collection of larval mosquitoes and conducting control applications. A full-time 40 hrs./wk., 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM from March through September.
SEASONAL SURVEILLANCE & LAB ASSISTANTS
This position includes daily collection and taxonomic identification of mosquitoes for population studies, assisting with the West Nile Virus surveillance programs, and coordinating the propagation and delivery of mosquitofish. A full-time 40 hrs./wk., 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM from May through September.
